Are we prepared to take the responsibility of growing E- waste?

From a youngster browsing the internet, to adults spending time watching television. Everyone seems to be utilizing the technology to its fullest. Nobody knows if this increasing use of technology is a curse or a boon to the society. Well it ofcourse is a boon, however we remain neglegant of the fact of how much elctronic waste is generated due to this.

If we work towards converting this trash into electronic wealth for the benefit of the youth and the nation then certainly we will do justice to our society and the generations to come. The cumbersome quantities of used computers, many of them being obsolete are generated under the label "second hand goods", and a chunk of them end up in landfills as electronic waste.

Here is where we urge everyone specially the youth to take responsibility of tackling the e- waste by ensuring it is recycled by the recyclers who are registered with the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India, who will take the responsibility of tackling the e-waste in environmental friendly ways.We should commit ourselves in initiating a socially-responsible movement towards electronic waste and illuminate a path for a greener and safer environment.
