Sustainability in the Electronics World:

The construction of any electronic product requires significant input of energy and subsequent use of the product will also involve energy. All these add up to cause significant physical damage to the environment. According to World Changing (2005), electronics make up 70 percent of all hazardous waste. This comes as no surprise as it takes large amounts of chemicals to produce electronic products. There are so many new gadgets appearing of late as we enter the technology age one has to wonder how much the environment can take. If we cannot possibly reduce the growing demand of these electronic gadgets we should take the responsibility of disposing the electronic waste we generate.
